If you are passionate about working with cats and dogs and want to build a long-term career in professional pet grooming, our Trainee-Groomer position is the perfect starting point. No prior grooming experience is required — we will train you from the ground up.
ABOUT PAWPAD
Pawpad is Bangalore’s trusted dog and cat grooming studio, known for compassionate care, high standards, and professional grooming.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Groomer Trainee, you will receive comprehensive, hands-on training from experienced groomers. You will gradually progress from assisting in grooming tasks to independently handling pet grooming services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn professional grooming techniques under expert supervision
- Assist in bathing, drying, brushing, and basic grooming
- Handle both cats and dogs safely and compassionately
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the grooming studio
- Provide friendly customer service to pet parents
- Travel to client homes for mobile grooming appointments
- Gradually take on full grooming responsibilities as skills develop.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Minimum 10th pass
- Age: 18 years and above
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory for home grooming)
- Languages: English, Hindi, or Kannada
- Physical Fitness: Able to stand long hours and lift pets up to 25 kg
- Animal Handling: Comfortable with cats and dogs
- Love for animals, patience, empathy
