What you study

• Bathing, Drying, Brushing & De-matting — continued hands-on practice, building speed and consistency.
• Ear Cleaning — hands-on, live-dog practice.
• Nail Trimming & Hygiene Clip — no model or dummy can replicate either skill closely enough to teach it. You'll watch these performed on a live dog several times, then practice on a live dog yourself later in the programme, once your instructor has seen enough of your hold and control to trust it.
• Full Haircut — demo and model practice only at this tier; not yet attempted on a live dog.
• Capstone Groom — a full groom on a live dog (bath through hygiene clip), with the haircut portion completed on the model.

How you learn

In-person, small-cohort, across 3 weeks. Bathing, brushing, and full haircuts follow demo → model practice → live-dog practice. Nail trimming and hygiene clip don't have a model option — no substitute replicates a real nail or the feel of live skin closely enough — so those two follow repeated live demonstration, then live practice later in the programme. Full haircuts stay at model level here; live haircut work begins at the PACGC (7-week) tier.

What you earn

The Pawpad Canine Grooming Practitioner Certificate (PCGPC) — proof of live nail-trim and hygiene-clip competency, with haircut exposure at model level. A real step above Essentials, a real step below the full PACGC programme. Grooming skill develops at different paces for different people — our advice, regardless of pace, is to gain supervised experience before working independently, and Pawpad offers placement support into a supervised role for graduates who want it. Graduates can optionally sit an internationally recognised bather-level safety certification exam at their own additional cost, billed at actuals — the full groomer-level exam still requires a live clippered trim, which stays reserved for PACGC graduates.

Commitment & fees

• 15 days, Monday–Friday, 11am–5pm, across 3 weeks (90 hours total)
• ₹50,000 per student
• ₹12,500 non-refundable deposit due upon acceptance to hold your seat; balance of ₹37,500 due before Day 1
